I’ve struggled to start writing about my ring collection because I can’t remember the order in which these pieces are added to my collection (with a few exceptions). So instead of stressing about it, I figured I'd just share a pic and walk you through them from left to right. Hang in there, this category has more pieces than my wrist stack.
Okay, here we go, the sixteen rings in my collection. When Dan and I first started dating in the fall of 2017, he gifted me the Dana Rebecca Double Initial Ring with my initials “KO” for our first Christmas together. How serendipitous that he bought me this ring about 6 months before I started working for the brand. This ring wasn't just my introduction to fine jewelry, but also my motivation to finally kick my nail-biting habit. (Quick tip: Olive & June products were absolute game-changers for me, but I'll save that whole story for another post!)
Next, I have the Sylvie Slim Halfway Rings in all three metals - white, yellow, and rose gold. The white and yellow versions lived on my middle and index fingers, and I'm constantly switching how I wear them - solo, stacked together, or mixed with other rings as my collection grows. The rose gold one is sized for my pinky and was a left-hand staple for ages (though I've since upgraded my pinky game). These three rings sit mostly in my jewelry box (as I have more rings than I do fingers) but they’re perfect rings to stack and I still reach for them from time to time when I want to wear something subtle.
Then there's THE ring. Dan proposed on July 5, 2019 at the Biltmore Mansion in Asheville, North Carolina (which later became our wedding venue!). Even though we'd been together for about a year and a half, and I kinda knew it was coming, I was still completely blown away when it happened. Funny thing is, despite working at Dana Rebecca Designs at that point, I hadn't taken my GIA classes yet and was clueless about diamonds. I remember vaguely mentioning I might like an oval or round stone on either a plain or pavé band—not exactly detailed instructions! Dan (and Dana, and Noah, and my sister, and his parents - all involved in the ring, ha!) absolutely nailed it —choosing a gorgeous oval diamond on an ultra-thin micropavé band in white gold. This ring will always be my most treasured piece, hands down. Nothing else in my collection comes close to the sentimental value.
Next up: my wedding bands. Yes, I got 3 rings. My wedding date was pushed back 3 times because of Covid, so it felt appropriate to get more than one ring. The centerpiece is my "official" wedding band—an Oval Eternity Band in white gold. My original plan? Move my engagement ring to my right hand (very European chic) and flank the Oval Eternity on my left with two rose gold stacking rings. My other option was to wear the oval eternity band alone on my right-hand ring finger, with the two skinny rose gold rings stacked with my engagement ring. These rose gold beauties are the Zoe Louise Eternity Band (no longer on the website but available for special order) and the Sadie Pearl Eternity Ring.

The Multi-Shape Ring was something that a client came to me with as an idea for her 35th birthday gift to herself - we played around with stones and layouts, and she ended up with a .25ct each stone Multi-Shape. Once we posted photos online, the ring became an instant hit! People either wanted to buy the exact design or create their own customized version. Since this piece was essentially my brainchild (or rather, my clients, thank you, Ashley!), I felt like I HAD to add it to my personal collection. I made one for myself in Rose Gold, and wear it most often stacked with my Oval Eternity Band.

The Sadie Pearl Split Baguette is one of my favorite rings in my collection. I wear it on my pointer finger (this feels like the only appropriate finger for this ring, IMO) and switch it between my left and right hands. This ring has been a part of the collection for such a long time that sometimes the team wonders if people still love it, or if everyone who wants it already has it… I always tell them that more people will want it, and that she cannot be discontinued!
My heart signet ring is one of my favorite “to me from me (for no reason)” gifts. After spotting similar styles from other designers, I was desperate to create my own version. Being a total heart-girl (diamond hearts especially!), I designed a signet ring that would be delicate yet sturdy enough to showcase a .50ct heart diamond. Since I’ve had this ring, we’ve made so many different variations, with different diamond shapes, and in different diamond sizes. My favorite variation to date is the one that gifted my sister when she was the maid of honor at my wedding, with a marquis diamond (story time on wedding jewelry?).

Next up is a ring I received as a bridesmaid in my best friend Sara's wedding last July. Since she worked for the brand Armenta at the time, she gifted each of us a Crivelli Stack Ring in a color she personally selected to match our vibe. She picked this gorgeous green for me - and honestly, it’s my favorite of all of the colors she picked (shh!). Here’s a picture of all of the other rings so that you can see the other styles. If I had to pick another color to stack, I've got my eye on that gorgeous turquoise blue version.

The alternating ruby and diamond ring dates back to 1994—yes, the year I was born! My dad bought it for mom, and engraved "Katherine 10-16-1994" on the inside. She always wore it stacked with rings from my siblings' births. When she passed away, it came to me. Though it's bittersweet to have it now that she's gone, wearing it makes me feel connected to her, knowing how much this ring meant to her. I’ve been stacking in on my middle finger with my Melody Eden Ring (more on that below) and love them together.
Next is the ring I designed as a push present after having my daughter, Vivi. I knew that I wanted to design something that I could pass down to her one day, so I felt like a classic signet ring with her first and middle name would be the perfect piece. The design went through a few iterations, but I’ll share more on that in another post dedicated to my push-presents (only two kids but somehow five jewelry pieces between them, oops!) and custom pieces. This ring is so, so special to me and makes me think of my little girl every time that I see it on my left pinky — I moved my heart signet ring to my right hand when I added this ring to my collection, it was formerly on my left.
The ruby ring is another push present, this one celebrating Jack's birth. I'm not usually big on birthstones, but when I found out Jack's would be ruby, I wanted something subtle with the stone (since I'm such a pink girl at heart!). I designed this 3mm rose gold band with scattered rubies that I wear on my left ring finger most days—either paired with Engagement Ring + Sadie Pearl Eternity Ring, or with my Oval Eternity Band.
The last ring in my collection is the Melody Eden Vertical Bar Ring. Yes, I customized it in Rose Gold (it’s only available online in Yellow Gold). I bought it in a size 7 to fit my middle finger (or thumb!) and as I mentioned, I've been wearing it stacked with my mom's ruby and diamond ring. Before that, I styled it countless ways. Here's a pro tip: though my ring finger is actually a size 5, I often wear this size 7 ring there too—I just put on my Oval Eternity Band or Multi-Shape Ring afterward to keep it from slipping off. Sizing up gives you way more versatility as long as you have something tighter to lock everything in place!
There you have it - the ring assortment in my jewelry box! Feel free to reach out to me directly if you want to purchase any of the customized pieces, I am always here to help!
xo, Kat
